Back to School is Just Around the Corner! 
The first day of school is September 14, 2010 at 7:50 am

The school office will be open beginning August 16 for student registrations, changes of address and other business. 
Hours are 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:00pm. 
August 30 and September 6 are holidays. 
Schools will be closed on September 7, 8 and 9 due to furlough days.

Daniel Webster School has been chosen by the President's Council for Physical Fitness and Sports as one of 6 Demonstration Schools in the State of California by the President's Challenge Physical Activity and Fitness Awards Program!  Click on the logo above to find out more about President Obama's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports!

We have been chosen as a finalist in the Governor's Fitness Challenge and are in the running for up to $100,000 in prizes!!

 FIRST PRIZE is a brand new fitness center for our school!  You can help us win.  Just go to http://www.calgovcouncil.org  (or click on the icon above) today, sign up under "Webster School" and start recording your active days.  

**Remember, all you have to do is 1/2 hour of physical activity, three days a week-that includes walking to school, playing catch in the back yard, or a daily trip to the gym.

When you are out doing errands
please pick up some extra supplies
for Webster.

See a pack of pencils
on sale for a quarter...
pick up a couple extra for our classrooms!
Spot a sale on cases of copy paper...
grab an extra one for our office!
Get a two for one coupon for hand sanitizer or kleenex...
save the extras, we'll need 'em
for cold and flu season!
